Best practice:- The aim of the college is to encourage students of the institution to emphasize on social services. The NSS wing provides exposure to the cadets in a wide range of activities with an emphasis on social services. It develops the character of comradeship and selfless service amongst the youth. Effective learning is best on a clean campus. We nurture the minds of the youth through value-based education. It is the mission of the college to keep the surroundings clean through active participation by staff and students. Events like poster competitions, essay writing, slogan competitions, speeches, etc. on “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” were organized in the college. The staff members clean the campus with brooms on certain occasions and set an example for the students. The NSS students also actively participate in cleaning the campus, removing waste matters, and throwing it in the dustbins. The NSS Volunteer went to the nearby locality and made the villagers aware of hygiene and cleanliness. They were also told to discard the practice of open defecation as well as not to spit anywhere. To sensitize the students to preserve the environment, tree plantation is done from time to time. The use of plastic is forbidden on campus and students are advised to propagate this in their village and nearby surroundings.
